Stop the presses.
I’m moving (as we speak) into a new studio space.
In Marquette.
Downtown.
Accessible.
My husband, Kurt Babcock and I are in the early stages of opening a studio/gallery/business space in Marquette. We have the space, 118B above Watson & Watson Jewelry.
The space has character and the light is spectacular. In the coming weeks I’ll be setting up my work station there, hauling in art, and fine tuning operations.
I’ll be considering having exhibits & receptions from time to time. We also want to offer basic services based on our skills to artists in our community. Through all this I’ll be developing a retail area. I have ideas to execute and expand on.
More coming very soon about everything. I will share updated information on social media platforms and through my newsletter. You can find dedicated information on this space on facebook & instagram at
My goal is to create a conversational atmosphere around our shared love of art.
If anyone has thoughts, suggestions, questions or general interest in what we’re starting you can drop a comment or reach out to us at anytime at CharleyLakesStudio@gmail.com or you can subscribe to my newsletter at:

This is great and I love the logo and tagline. No ideas at the moment, but best of luck with getting things going. It looks like you're off to a great start!
This is a wonderful idea!
